Microsoft spending $68.7B to acquire Activision in its biggest acquisition ever was a huge sign of how far Sony Playstation had pulled ahead but it’s still nuts to see 30% year over year sales declines of the console.

I guessed it was bad but didn’t think it would be this bad.

XBox 360 won the console wars during its generation but multiple missteps during XBox One from betting on Kinect to abandoning gamers created an opening for Sony PlayStation which Microsoft’s XBox never recovered from.
