     @filburutto Yep, different. At least what I've read and the few I understood.

     In the Chinese version, I think they used the translation sung by Mandopop singer Zhao Lusi(?), and originally titled “You Are My Light”. I haven't found that version; I'm thinking Zhao's translation cover is also different from PiXXiE's Chinese version?

     Really enjoyed their song (in terms of melody), but I didn't quite really understand the lyrics well, so please fix me if I'm wrong. I noticed that the feeling of Thai lyrics was more related to heart-broken one, quite like toxic relationship and one was ready to end it. Meanwhile, the Chinese lyrics were more about how the person shone this lover's life.

     I think I get it now. PiXXiE's ThaiPop “ไม่ได้ก็ไม่เอา” (Whatever) was translated to MandoPop by 赵露思 (Zhao Lusi) with a slightly different meaning, and entitled as “You Are My Light”. Then PiXXiE covered Zhao's version.

     Later, PiXXiE released a direct translation of the original ThaiPop lyrics into CPop, and entitled it as “Whatever”.

     Basically, there are 4 versions:
     * Original Thai
     * Translation in #MandoPop by #赵露思 (Zhao Lusi)
     * PiXXiE's cover of Zhao's
     * #PiXXiE's own C-pop translation.

     Cool. Usually we see a cover of a cover of a cover. But PiXXiE's song has come full circle. The original artist covered a cover! Rare!

     I should listen to both songs (original and the cover one) to know how different they are.
     
     And yess... this is my first time to know the original singers sing the covered version of their songs.
