   People who are confident, and winning don't take desperation tactics like this. They're a caged animal.
   
   They burned China, and Russia and they have nowhere to go.
   You thought the hypothetical draft could be bad? Each time they take steps like these it only makes it worse.
   
   It's a war on Youth, but those are the exact people who they need to fight their wars. These people are breaking down, and people are waking up.
   
   I still give the US/Israel 10 years to live. Once the boomers are too old to speak up these people are finished.

     @gentoobro @caekislove @BigDuck that's the thing, airpower of the sort NATO uses requires control of the airspace, which requires air bases .. with russian air defenses and hypersonic missiles the assumption would be the escalation would be to nuclear quickly.

     @caekislove @BigDuck @sickburnbro NATO has stockpiles, even with the recent donations to Ukraine. They would likely try to fight a conventional war in their conventional way (airpower) until their stockpiles ran dry in a year or two. The brass and politicians seem to be delusional about their warfighting capacity and stockpile size.

     Based on both recent and historical behavior, Russia would likely do a slow fighting retreat to wear down NATO, then slowly march forward after NATO is depleted.

     @sickburnbro I just wonder how long Putin will continue the "war" in Ukraine. Anybody who actually knows and isn't retarded realizes it is just a conflict to drain the west of resources.
     
     Regardless it will be a big hit to the US when Ukraine loses, and there is no cope they can pull out that will save face.

     @BigDuck @sickburnbro NATO would have to go straight for the nukes in any conflict with Russia and/or China because the industrial base needed for serious conventional mobilization simply isn't there anymore (sold to China in the 90's for 30 pieces of silver).

     @sickburnbro @caekislove @BigDuck It's worse than that. It requires an obscene budget and production capacity, neither of which the US has. Military expenditure was about a third of the budget during the sandpit wars against goat herders, most of that going towards air power. (Most of the navy budget boiled down to having floating airbases.)

     There's no way they could produce enough bombs and planes to fight a country the physical and economic size of Russia for very long. The hyperinflation to pay for it would cripple the country too.

     @gentoobro @sickburnbro @BigDuck Yeah the carriers would be practically useless against Russia considering the geography of where most of the war would be fought. They'd have to "force project" via Polish and Romanian airbases and lol have fun with that.
