If Biden signs the #TikTok ban without amending it to include Google, Microsoft, Meta, X, and others, he'll lose my vote. I was already aggravated with his timidity and reluctance to impose any meaningful penalties on Israel for their apartheid in Gaza. It's astonishing how the Democrats have managed to bumble and stumble and fumble on these two issues even as Trump is practically handing them victory on a platter with all his legal troubles (and incoherent stump speeches).

Barney (barney@mas.to)'s status on Thursday, 25-Apr-2024 14:12:25 JST Barney That's batshit crazy.
What actually happened, in reality, was that Congress passed a bill that requires an enemy foreign government to sell its stake in #TikTok. And Biden signed it.
Whatever the hell you think you're going to accomplish by electing Trump, you're not going to accomplish it.

"Yes, Americans lived in a prosperous democracy. But they threw it away. They voluntarily elected a brutal fascist regime that rounded up 10 million Latino people in concentration camps. They banned lifesaving medical care for pregnant women, nationwide, and subjected many of those women to lethal atrocities."
"Why? Because @thegardendude made folks afraid that they might lose their cute dance videos."
