     OK....good news is, thanks to a kind contribution, one of the emergency bills is now paid out, and I was able to take a sizeable dent out of the other. Thank you, "S"!!

     Bad news, though, is that I still have a bit left on the other currently pressing bill; and I still have the rent and utilities due early next week.

     Basically, I need $100 to close out the immediate bills...

     BTW....got an email this morning from the legal firm helping me with my appeal for Federal disability benefits. They said that my case was still being analyzed, even after being held for more than a year, and I didn't need to take any action. No word on when resolution was forthcoming.

     Really??? At least my insurance company is rolling faster with my appeal for my LTD disability payments than this. What's up with you, SSA??

     Or, is this stalling for the legal fees?

     I CANNOT OVEREMPHASIZE THE CRITICALNESS OF THIS SITUATION.

     $300 FOR RENT + $400 FOR UTILITIES MUST BE PAID BY ME BEFORE THE END OF TODAY IN ORDER TO AVOID EVICTION. HATE HAVING THIS HAPPEN EVERY TWO WEEKS, BUT GIVEN HOW MY DISABILITY APPEALS HAVE DRAGGED ON, I HAVE NO ALTERNATIVES.

     TL;Dr on my crowdfunding: I am disabled and unable to return to active work due to a medical condition and the orders of my personal doctor; yet the insurance company that handles my disability benefits decided in January to cut off my payments based on their own individual review. I am currently awaiting a ruling on appeal, but until then I have no income for paying bills.

     Double good news: My doc's office called to verify that my appointment is not until 2 pm this afternoon, so I can at least rest until then.
