   @danhon I am very serious. I had not figured that out. It sounds like search PM wanted a promotion over folders PM and got to try this to show the numbers that if you hide folders, people don’t use folders. What a clusterfuck.

     @janl I assume you're serious here and yeah, you have to click folders to see folders?! and then it will only show folders?! you can’t see documents *and* folders from that screen?!?!

     It took me ages to figure this out.

     I know it's easy to punch down on Google Drive, but:

     IF the default is to have My Drive collapsed so I don't see folders and there's no way to change that default

     then this pillbox at the top of the Drive homepage that lets me view Files OR Folders isn't a suggestion, it's a filter.

     WHY CAN'T I JUST GET A VIEW WITH BOTH or am I being stupid?
