   who the fuck can afford that, is anybody even trying to reduce the cost of medical care (lol no of course not)

     the machine could've been sold for 1/4 the cost
     
     the consumables could've been $10 each
     
     the entire medical industry colludes in concealing how much obscene gouging happens at all levels

     Thats the purchased cost.
     
     Not the cost of the actual machine and consumables.
     
     Markups of 1000% are not unheard of.
