Someone told me that U.S. sanctioned a "battalion" of IDF for Gaza. Fact check:

1. U.S. only promised to sanction an IDF battalion, but have not done it yet. It may still not be done.

2. This has nothing to do with Gaza, and apparently the trigger was a murder of a holder of U.S. passport in West bank.
