   @j The director's cut is unbearable imo, it makes sense but the cuts to make it into the 2001 version made a better movie even if it wasn't the director's intent.
   
   the 2004 movie is somebody from the future sending him signals to try to induce him into place to die to break the tangent universe loop, not much more than that.

     @j the difference between 2001 and 2004 is it had more mystery about why everything was happening, in 2004 they made it very explicit it was not supernatural.

     @sun @j >we didnt know about epstein at the time, thats past 5-10 years for us
     im not so sure about this. i remember a few people talking about epstein for quite a while before it became mainstream news

     @PapaPole @j Trump mentioned Epstein's proclivity for young girls in a bad way, in 2002. He did the rich-person thing where he made a backhanded compliment that attacked him, and people still think he was actually being friendly.

     @sun @j i think the mainstream mostly didnt know until he got arrested. there was that journalist chick who was caught on a hot mic in 2019 talking about how they knew everything back in 2015. id love to know when alex jones first mentioned it(or whoever else if they were first.)
