     I recommend looking up the candidate most likely to beat the Tories in your area and voting for them. Even if they’re a bit shit, because bit shit is better than full of shit.

     As we don’t have any kind of proportional voting system, it’s most votes wins.

     Even if everyone gets a similar number of votes, the candidate with the highest number just wins.

     And that fucking hurts to say. Remember Brexit?

     @mattgrayyes What's worse is that we were given an opportunity to chose a better system and as a country we decided to stick with FPtP.

     On Brexit, no sane government would have done what they did off the back of a 52% majority. IMHO if there were going to act off of that result, it should have been the softest possible Brexit since it won with - practically - the slimmest possible result.
