   Having that tinker urge again… Those smartphones with open software appear so tempting again. Even though I was always eyeballing #Fairphone, I just discovered #Volla which appears to be interesting with #UbuntuTouch, too.

     @i2h3 this summer i celebrate the 2nd year with the vollaphone 22 as daily driver and i don't regret it 😀 probably with fairphones you have more choices of open software though...

     @i2h3 i chose the pure UBports version, but if you choose VollaOS you can multiboot a lot of more OSes (installed on SD card) 😉

     @silkevicious The longer I think about it, the more tempting the V22 appears.

     The standard Android is what repels me most about the Fairphone. I know, alternative OS are possible.

     …but having official first-party support for something elegant and simple (what I miss in iOS since years) like Volla OS without the Google parts of Android appears neat.
