     WEST SPRINGFIELD- An advocacy group called "Mass Priorities" has been campaigning against municipal broadband in western Massachusetts. Mass Priorities is funded by a lobbying group called the Domestic Policy Caucus, which, as reported by @mmasnick for Techdirt, is covertly funded by telecommunications companies, who in many places have a de facto monopoly on broadband internet service. I received this Instagram ad last night. [1/3]
