~am (am@decept.org)'s status on Monday, 22-Apr-2024 13:46:51 JST ~am truthfully i am low-key repulsed by twitter brain; and discord above all is just twitter brain at each other, it's all high throughput low quality slurry, but i don't know how to construct anything else yet.
i wanna set up a discussion board, or a mailing list, or whatever, and outright retire from microblogging, but i don't even know where to start, or what to centre anything around.
or if i just accept that we've become slime mold brain, just barely more evolved than purely emotive output, wrapped in something clever; inc or dec counters on collective cartography; and log off log off.

~am (am@decept.org)'s status on Monday, 22-Apr-2024 13:46:51 JST ~am social sculpture is a valuable phrase; i often focused on interfaces begetting a specific mindset, of how to "treat" what is fundamentally federated CRUD here, but since lent ended and i appeared places online again i just, felt like i was being compelled to re-become thought-protozoa? just saying nothings, as decades go by; why would you even archive any of this? the usenet archive is actionable, researchable, it resembles a discourse, it still has an architecture to its interaction. i feel very frustrated -

Christmas Sun (sun@shitposter.world)'s status on Monday, 22-Apr-2024 21:06:27 JST Christmas Sun @am A friend of mine is using nodebb (I think) and it works nice. It just invited friends of theirs and it worked out. "federated" isn't needed for something like this.
