  We just laugh about it. I think most people confuse the dirtiest parts of Brazil or Venezuela with all of South America. It's like judging all of North America based on dirty Frenchmen from Quebec.

  @Shadowman311 @lina something to add to this -- a vast majority of GAB users who migrated here in February and March their first response to any questions about Poast was "I get so much more engagement there"
  
  I am not sure what GAB personally did or shadowbanning or whatever to its users, the ability to click the federated tab and see an unfiltered view of the world helps a lot but that was the first thing any of them mentioned
  
  i agree we do absolutely need a reset in all aspects, both wings of political spectrum, education, all of it

  @lina @graf Yeah I think screen usage causes some as of yet undiagnosed mental illness, maybe it's the blue light, the constant dopamine rushes, demons in the wires, something, I think in 15 years we'll look back on the current implementation of the smart phone and social media in a similar way to how asbestos is viewed today.

  @graf @Shadowman311 I think your numbers are wrong, I could say almost all people online have some mental illness(90%+), just most of them go undiagnosed. And if someone doesn't, then they try to get one by artificially destroying their brain,/ being manipulated into one
  This statistics also changes from region to region,
  Some countries I could say have a lot more compared to others, BUT the general truth also says just because we don't hear much about them doesn't make them not
