     ...Knowing a lot of the lore beforehand makes Cooper's experience in the past less... creepy and more "waiting for Twilligt episode to actually start".

     I mean I am not a lore-hound, so it was a long time ago I stopped reading terminal entries in the games; I already know some horrid shit went down in this (insert company ruins or vault here) place, all I want to do is loot and get out.

     Give me a family holiday? I love those. A bunch of friends just playing games and eating pizza for 28 hours? That too.

     Full cosplay ("tux" or other unnatural clothes) and politeness and cocktails? Fuck right off.

     Sidenote here: Someone said the power armor in the series are too durable; the truth is the opposite; they are supposed to be as tough as in the cutscenes and the show, they are WEAKENED in the games. In the lore the P51 and T60 was way more powerful than anything the Chinese had, but in the games (FO3 especially) an unarmored player with a rifle from the 1800s could take them out.
