I’ve made the decision to leave Twitter.

There is no level of engagement that is healthy for me any more. I need a clean break for the foreseeable future.

For a long time it was a lifeline to the trans community to help me stay connected to what’s going on. Because we have so few trans people working in the media, everything is organised on Twitter. This is true for so many other marginalised communities too.

That’s why Elon wants it. And that’s why the trans community *must* leave.
