   Ms. FoC would not believe me that when we are だるい we will often say we are “tired”. She couldn’t accepted that we wouldn’t always make the exact same distinction as between だるい and 疲れた, so now I’m feeling tired (=/= だるい 😮💨) 🙃

     @FlockOfCats lmao i literally had this conversation with Hide like 4 days ago because I said I was tired despite being in bed all day and he got really grumpy because I couldn’t POSSIBLY be 疲れた 🫠 don’t get started on how we sometimes say tired when we mean 眠い too 🤪

     @pippa @FlockOfCats This just made me realize that Tomo says 疲れた for any kind of tired like an English-speaker. I wonder if going to uni in Australia and living with me has changed his speech patterns, and what his family must think when we putz around saying 疲れた despite doing nothing physical 😂
