     @matrixsasuke@fedi.absturztau.be sure you can do that, but its still inevitable that dust will accumulate over time. also its not just the solar panels where the dust can cause problems. like it will impact the mechanical parts as well and lead to failures due to lockups, sanded away parts, friction and stuff like that

     @puniko perhaps they have some sort of smart engineering solution for that... like making the geometry such that the rotors always blow off enough dust to reload...

     @matrixsasuke@fedi.absturztau.be that only prolongs the inevitable for a bit. despite that, if you even manage to protect it from the dust, its still inevitable that it will fail to function at one point in the future, just by the fact that akku packs will lose capacity over time :akko_shrug: its basic physics
