#WritersCoffeeClub 18 April: How important is social media in promoting your work?

I do get the occasional sale without promotion but I see an increase whenever I'm posting a link online. This was very noticable before the social media diaspora when I was very active on #Twitter. Nowadays #Mastodon is my main platform and I *think* some of you guys bought a book and became patrons of my work? But since Mastodon doesn't show up in analytics I just don't know 😂
