Agonio (agonio@social.vivaldi.net)'s status on Wednesday, 28-Aug-2024 05:23:10 JST Agonio @daya back when the main options for social media were MySpace, early Facebook, 4Chan and Habbo, Forumfree (and forumcommunity, another domain of the same company) were engines for old-style forums, with phpBB.
You could create your own forum, like <name>.forumfree.com, where you were a mod. Sort of subreddit style.
People also managed RPG forums, especially for Pokémon, where each forum section was a route or city, and mods acted as wild encounters and trainers for battles.
But now that I think of it, because it was mainly popular in Italy?
