Things I would love to find out how to do (more easily? at all?) in Blender:
- Apply a colormap in the preview or the renderer
- Set the sample count to be locally determined by voxel size
- Write a python node for batching math operations
- Have a "describe" node for inputs/outputs in the geometry node canvas (i.e., min, max)
These are likely all things that are possible, perhaps even easy! But coming at Blender from a sciviz background has a strangely impressive impedance mismatch.
