     I was looking at Amtrak for our trip to San Diego, but it would involve:

     Traveling for 18 hours with a little kid
     Arriving after 1 AM with the same little kid, and Amtrak is always delayed
     Changing trains late at night in Los Angeles

     I don't wanna fly, but I don't really have a lot of choice here
