   @tokyo_0 I have this theory that the users still on X enjoy pain. So the more painful their social media experience on X is, the more stubbornly they cling to their accounts there.

   Twitter died more than a year ago, I refuse to call Elon's tortured remnant of it anything but X.

     @tokyo_0 when you get access to the account, enable passkeys. But I noticed they currently only support them on iOS. https://help.twitter.com/en/managing-your-account/how-to-use-passkey

     @tokyo_0 I'm sorry that your friends over there are not jumping to saner options - even Threads would be an improvement. At least they could still keep in touch with you (and you with them) without you having to create a Threads account.

     @tokyo_0 That is just horrible. Remove all 2fa from that unreliable service provider. You don't know when you their software or processes will break.
