   As someone in a very individualized situation, I do not plan to ever get into another relationship. However, if I did I can't imagine any situation where conflict would do anything but reignite my #PTSD. I think I understand that T'Rina's statement is one of attempting to install freedom of expression in a relationship, a sense of liberty, but that doesn't mean that conflict is a natural part of love. It doesn't have to be that way. #StarTrek #StarTrekDiscovery

     As someone who is *extremely* conflict-averse I have a hard time accepting T'Rina's statement in "Jinaal" that conflict in relationships is "healthy" - I have been around a long time now and have had my share of relationships and have seen a great deal of relationships. I can't think of any successful relationship where there was conflict. It is an intellectually interesting sentiment, but I do not accept it as fact. #StarTrek #StarTrekDiscovery
