   @gentoobro i'm not really a fan of IMGUIs. i'm somewhat receptive to using a DSL or macro package that "looks" like an imgui but actually creates the gui graph in the background.
   
   (my latest experiments are on using an ECS to manage widgets)

     For anyone who hasn't seen it, this is how a GUI should be built internally. Once you use an Immediate Mode GUI system you never want to go back.
