I RARELY say this, but this is a case for "pirate it" if you got screwed. If I ever do this with my games, providing no alternative for players who purchased it, feel free to pirate it!

2. Back in December 2023, Ubisoft announced it would power off the servers for its racing title, The Crew, and as of April 1st, 2024, the game would go offline. Of course, this caused a massive uproar from those who paid for the game since this would make the game unplayable without those servers. But things have taken another turn for the worse, as Ubisoft has taken things a step further and started removing the game from people’s Ubisoft Connect accounts. I’m not making this nonsense up. I wouldn’t have even noticed if I hadn’t logged into Ubisoft Connect because I wanted to log back into The Division 2. It’s not like Ubisoft had told us it was going to do this.

  @djlink the publisher should be forced to open source the server code so that people could run their own servers
