   @shalien the linked article seems to suggest this was an over-reaction... But anyways, the point is still valid, stay away from Discord ;) There are many other options, some even allowing self-hosting.

     @philn Yep. Promoting stolen software on discord is prohibited by TOS and Discord will not risk a DMCA claim for potential partners .
