     also we're generally defederated by a ton of people who share the same values as your server does so it surprised me

     @kirby i share the same values as this server as well. if both sides agree to keep their values and views out of the conversation and avoid even attempting to show them, then i dont have a problem with talking with the other side

     @kirby the problem comes from people not doing exactly that, and instead shitflinging and insulting like apes the moment they see a person that disagrees with their views political or not
