    Tractor coming soon.

I have my eyes set on some Woodland Mills forestry equipment, namely the chipper and stump grinder.

I'd like to get a sawmill too, but they're quite pricey and I just sold a kidney to buy the tractor, so that's going to have to wait.

Considering buying one of those cheap Chinesium aftermarket backup cameras to affix to the stump grinder, because I'm 100% sure I won't be able to see what I'm doing from the seat.

    Good idea? Anyone done similar?

@Gawdphather Vibration concern isn't out of durability for the camera, but the camera shaking violently while the stump grinder is biting wood. To mount it without all that vibration, I need to affix the mount to the tractor itself and use conduit or something to create an arm that I can lock next to or behind the grinder. Maybe it won't be as bad as I anticipate it will, but we'll see.

Tractor has a cab, so the panel will be sheltered.

I'll probably try wireless cameras (for flexibility)

@eriner vibration shouldn’t be a concern( my holds up fine so far after a couple thousand miles on the hatfield mccoy trails). I saw cattle baron metioned weather, you didnt mention if your new tractor has a cab?

@Gawdphather Good to know I'm not the only one thinking this is a good idea 😆

Mounting location (and secure connection, anti-vibration, etc) is probably going to be my biggest hurdle due to where I'll probably have to mount it.
