Poland and Hungary are already promising to not abide by the slightly positive things the asylum reform brought: Distributing refugees fairly across Europe from the nations they arrive in.
Interesting how these two far right countries can promise to disobey by the law, but only the humane aspects, and will likely face no repercussion for that. This will be shocking for you to hear, but I think no other nation will break this reform in order to, for example, prevent refugees from being deported to random “safe” (non-European) nations.
Given the precedent of European nations, especially Germany, simply not doing whatever the EU asks of them whenever it doesn't suit them, I think you should understand what is possible if politicians and our capitalist economy cared.
The EU's new migration and asylum pact (GEAS) and its consequences will be a disaster for the human species.
“More than 160 rights organisations, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the International Rescue Committee, also denounced the pact, arguing it would lead to greater suffering, less protection and more rights violations.”
Remember how the UK wanted to push people to Rwanda despite not being from Rwanda? It's that but for the EU. Whole human rights charter thrown out of the Window. I wonder why the Brexit even needed to happen, as we seem to pass the same dehumanizing laws.
