   my dad is writing a book on erotic hypnosis and has no experience in the fetish side of it, he’s coming from his therapeutic hypnotist experience, I have told him all the reasons why this is a terrible fucking idea but he will still do it
   like the reason I dont wanna let him cook is not the speaking about erotic hypnosis, it’s the approach of hypnosis through a eurocentric modality (specifically ericksonian/elmannian/conversationnal) and how bad he is at mentioning other modalities that are culturally different whether it’s ethnic or subculture related…
   I basically gave him an essay on what he should be writing and he’s convinced he’s above the traps I mentioned (I did convince him to let me write him a foreword to set the context better tho)
   I should be the one writing this book tbh, not him… In fact I might, I can publish it in english first and then translate it myself to french and show him my book about erotic hypnosis is better than his
