   I always overdrink and spend the next day feeling like shit. I got a bad habit of not wanting the night to end. I think part of it‘s because I’m not socially fulfilled by the people I drink with at the bar so I cope by drinking more. I don’t drink nearly as much when I’m with my actual friends.

     @suquili I get it. All my friends from college live out of state. I'm married so it's pretty hard to be lonely. Find a nice girl and get married, then you won't ever be lonely.

     @suquili Avoid bars. Never had a good time or made an IRL friend at a bar. Hanging out with friends at a bar is fine but just sitting and drinking is a drag.

     @DC5FAN yeah it’s pretty lame definitely. Even the closest friend I‘ve made is only a tenth as close as my actual friends.
     
     sadly for me my friends have all scattered about over the last few years so we can’t really hang out 2-3 times a week like we used to. It’s definitely put me in a lonely place.
