Do you use well water or is that for city water?

@bronze @sjw Honestly it's the storage tank that concerns me the most, but the general strategy is to do periodic teardowns and sanitize everything in the system. You flushing the system before using the water that comes out is also a thing if you're after exceptionally low tds, like to preserve the resin in an ro/di system, but you can't exactly just flush the toxins accumulated in the storage tank since that defeats the purpose of storing it in the first place.

Ive used this one going on three years without any issues. The White tank I think is 65 gallons.

@ForbiddenDreamer @sjw true, I've never ran into that issue but I think you can mitigate that risk with:
1) shorter downstream (filter to faucet)
2) constant use of filter flushing out the other end

@sjw "american tap water is safe, this is only a problem in the third world" the amerilard says as he coats his nasal passages full of fluoride, lead, microplastics and now brain eating amoeba.

@bronze @sjw You still have the possibility of bacterial growth in everything downstream of the membrane, though I don't know how much of an issue it really is
