     Yeah it's just a joke. DisplayPort is better than both hdmi and VGA or DVI.

     Oh I forgot, I had a 1980s Sun monitor forever ago that could do something insane like that, over BNC connectors.

     it'd probably be better if that got standardized instead of HDMI, RG6 is so cheap
