     I think I got a second hand form of drunkenness just seeing @Dan_Hulson 's fridge yesterday 😵💫 . I really was never good with booze. Ice cream is more my poison.

     @Grumblesock I've been through a few as well, and I don't understand the hysteria. Then again, we didn't have to worry about NASA firing three rockets at the Sun, and CERN being started up, either.
     
     I'm going to buy a lovely bottle of wine, and if things go south, I'll go with wine and some delicious smelly cheese.

     I think the cheese and wine plan sounds like a fine one. There's real value in saying 'fuck it', putting your feet up and not getting swept up in nonsense.

     You guys are getting some wacky weather there. Half of my American pals are getting random snows and heavy flooding, at least we just get rains and endless grey sky. I am relieved to hear that you're ok and seemingly well prepared. I hope the basement dries out fast. :hug_apu:

     @Grumblesock It's been strange here, weather-wise. I blame the chemtrails. The basement is drying out nicely, as I have a dehumidifier running full blast.
     Also strange is how the coming eclipse is being ramped up with all sorts of weirdness, like school closings, people being told to stock up on food, work from home, etc.
     
     People have lost their damn minds. 🙄

     It has been a peculiar year weather wise here too. Nothing quite like my new world pals have, mind. The dehumidifier is a sound plan, last thing you want is mold setting in.
     
     It is all very odd, I've been in a couple of total eclipses before and though there's usually a buzz about them I've not seen anything like this. People are getting nuttier for sure. I really think that they pulled the trigger on something with the corona clown show, it has turned people in barely functioning psychological wrecks that jump at shadows (the moon's in this case).

     Yes...had localized flooding that didn't affect me so much, except a number of roads were closed. And I did get water in my basement; thankfully the power didn't go out, so the pump took care of most of it. It was a nerve-wracking day. Thank you for asking.
