@bobdobberson i check wayland about once a year and speedrun in to a usability problem with it, then go back to X. i guess some people are a lot more passionate about it. -

@bobdobberson process separation isn't much of a thing in x11. you can sandbox the process, but if it touches the x server you can basically get at any other process through it.
wayland is supposed to prevent that. -

@icedquinn I feel that. My only interest really is the alleged security of it, versus the X model, but I'm not entirely sure how the X model exposes my security.
