     @pry@raru.re damng, is this for companies or professors? you can just read up about random professors not even in your department and if any of the research seems interesting or could be related, just ask if you can help with their stuff. half the cool stuff I did was for random engineering professors that was like "hell yea"

     @shibao yea so I'm currently already doing research and my back up plan is to do research over the summer.

     it's interesting, since I'm applying for PhD programs next semester, it might make more sense for me to do research over the summer break instead of an internship

     @pry@raru.re you'll have a lot of time to get out into industry later, but there's a lot of stuff that only happens in universities that you conveniently have much much easier access to right now than everyone else. I'm sure you'll get a good opportunity soon though >:3

     @pry@raru.re the job market rn is still completely fucked up, don't believe the news cuz a lot of the job postings are totally fake and they all know it, i see tons of qualified people that have been out of work for a while. i'd say research opportunities search will probably be way easier than the job market rn

     @shibao ya thank you! idk it was just a bit demotivated since I didn't get a single interview and I wasn't sure what I was doing wrong
