     @simonstl oh, absolutely — I still fire up BBEdit immediately when I need to yoink a column from delimited text dor that very reason :D

     @eaton I, um, miss the days when it was possible to select text vertically in Word without getting everything to the left or right. Probably an artifact of space- or tab-based tables, but really useful in its weird day.
