     @kaia you buy a strain that's easy to grow and put it in a plant pot. If you're not trying to grow industrial quantities of weed you don't need grow lights. Make sure it gets sun though

     @kaia you need lights, insulation and ventilation if you need to hide it from cops. It is just a weed which will grow anywhere (my father and my cousin separately had rental houses with it just growing in the yard). When I was a student one of the complexes had gardens (outside, uncovered) which grew almost exclusively weed. They got 1 good and sometimes one a little less good harvest per year

     As with all crops with proper fertilizer and soil condition it will grow faster and more of what you want (think 4-5 harvests per year instead of 1-2). But if you just want to fuck around there's no need to make it expensive.

     Havng grow lights will help increase yield but likely not essential

     @kaia@brotka.st @canteen@cijber.social So I think the main reason you would want grow lights is to have direct control over the amount of light it's getting. So you can pretty easily "flip" the plant by just changing the timer. The main thing is maintaining that 16 hours until you want her to flower.

     This is the modern indoor marijuana bible from what I know. Just keep in mind this guy is aiming for as close to perfection as possible. I don't put the same effort into the early stuff because what's it to me if I lose a seed?
     
     Don't worry about the medicinal stuff on this page, it's a fun read but it's just his cover, bro has the same section nearly word for word in his earlier works. also peat moss is the devil, don't use it, the guide says to use it, don't.
