     @augustus its all true though. the r&d staff know aluminum salts trash your lungs among other things. it just causes such diffuse damage they can handwave and blame other shit (while the researchers themselves have long since moved on to like.. mushrooms, which are harmless)

     @augustus one of the indie groups was making peptide vaccines with mushroom chitosen. there was a thing about how the only downside to shrumbles is currently only japan does the processing, and the nasal inhalers have to be reupped every couple months
