Christi Junior (christijunior@detroitriotcity.com)'s status on Friday, 29-Mar-2024 04:08:58 JST Christi Junior It's funny, Twitter is still a broken piece of shit that treats both non-users and non-paypigs like garbage, and 4chan is practically unusable due to CAPTCHA. Meanwhile, an instance like DRC is better than either of those sites were *in their prime*.
A HUGE quality gap is opening up between overrated big-name websites and hidden gems like the elite Fedi instances.- NEETzsche likes this.

NEETzsche (neetzsche@iddqd.social)'s status on Friday, 29-Mar-2024 04:20:21 JST NEETzsche Actually I think it's much dumber than that. It's them just doing regular purges in a vain effort to control their platform. I think Elon Musk buying Twitter and letting a surprising amount of pro-White shit slide on there is a data collection effort and/or an acknowledgement that there are enough people who want to post that sort of stuff that the (((NETWORK EFFECT))) won't save him. The jannying will need to get less egregious.

people there want growth and clout so twitter gives that in a few drops but then just before someone reaches their reach limit they get banned and have to start from zero, this way creating a cycle where everyone is always "growing"
