   Welcome! I've enjoyed my time here. The server runs smoothly. I can't even remember the last hiccup we've had here.

   I would note that mas.to has not completely rejected federation with Threads. It is taking a taking a wait-and-see approach. They want to see how much this will affect the server load and to see how Threads implements integration.

   @trumpet posted a well articulated nuanced position on it that was a breath of fresh air.

     @anonymous222 it's a large one not federated to Meta and it doesn't have any restrictions that I object to.

     Just moved here from Mastodon.World who have, imho, shamelessly federated with Meta. I joined Mastodon in the first place to get away from those creeps. Followers/followed now moved here, and redirect set up. Still have to finish profile pics etc.
