   i've been getting so irritated at modern instant messaging interfaces. they all do things the same way, and this way really doesn't fit me: chronological conversation list with no tabs. sometimes they have grouping, but then it's implemented in the worst way possible (via a sidebar next to the conversation list with big icons, adding lots of annoying indirection)
   
   i really want my chat tabs back, so i can keep track of ongoing conversations :neocat_sad:
