   I swear... In the unlikely event I am ever able to visit Japan, I'm bringing two suitcases to just load up with japanese snacks. I don't know why Japanese snacks appeal to me so much more than the majority of American snacks.

     @GreyWays Plus the quality of these foods are much better these days.

     KitKats are much better there for example.

     Honestly, it's likely due to them seeming to have more variety? When I think "Japanese snacks" I can't really settle on one or two things. But with American snacks its an easy "Potatoes, chocolate, popcorn or jerky" for me, all in the same 3-4 flavours.
