     @raiderrobert I declined an offer from a graduate recruitment scheme that probably would've set me up for life because they wanted to put me in corporate rather than engineering. Later in my career I did end up working in a more corporate role, anyway, but it was a big oil company which in the end I think I'd have wanted not to be involved with. There were some personal reasons as well to do with having to relocate. If I'd stuck with it, I think I could've had a very comfortable life, though.
