     @not_benis With modern cases one of the bottom right standoffs tends to be a guide pin instead, which makes the install easier. Should be super straight-forward if one just aims for the I/O shield ( @wakarimasen don't forget to install that, too! ).

     @forcedinductionretard @wakarimasen this is a sensible idea, but installing the cooler after the motherboard is inside the case helps with locating the board on the standoffs correctly, which matters when the builder is less experienced

     @not_benis Voting for cooler install outside of the case. Less struggling with the fan connector and @wakarimasen can use the cooler itself to gently place the motherboard into the case.
