     now let's bring up the blog post where they told everyone to turn on the hate speech filtering options. their intentions are clear, and they actively enshitten firefox. but they still know they can offer an experience better than chrome

     - can put an anime fox lady in the corner
     - ad blockers work
     - syncs bookmarks, history, and other data to a self-hosted server
     
     drawbacks of firefox:
     - have to kill the process every few days because memory leaks
