   Thinking about all the boomers who told me "you'll become conservative as you grow older", and every day I live I become more and more radicalized against capitalism and conservatism

     Some of them even told me "you'll become right wing when you'll pay taxes"

     Well I've been paying taxes for the past 5 years and I'm quite content with it

     However seeing how relatively low taxes are for the ultra-rich, it's driving me more and more towards leftism

     When I realized I won't be able to afford to buy a home?
     When I found out how much boomers were paid, adjusted for inflation?
     When the inevitability of a climate change apocalypse became clear?

     Yeah it's one of these evenings when I'm pondering my future and realizing how fucking bleak it's gonna be
     I want to work in public research after I graduate -> relatively poor wages because research is underfunded -> I won't be able to buy a home for myself because the housing market keeps concentrating more and more money into the hands of fucking leeches -> I'll be a tenant all my life and I won't be able to save much because housing is going to keep getting more and more expensive […]
