Feditext beta users: today's version 1.7.2 build 94 fixes the crash when tapping links within trending posts on the Explore tab: https://github.com/feditext/feditext/issues/379
this update is recommended for all Mastodon users who look at trending posts.
note that there are a few other issues related to trending posts; keep an eye on https://github.com/feditext/feditext/issues/131 for those.
