   @sidereal People like you in Germany protested against Nuclear, got some plants shut down, and because imports from Russia are down, they predictably went back to coal for their energy needs. How's that for a climate success! This is the problem; being against nuclear is not a pro-environment position, it just gives authorities a pass to keep doing what they're doing instead of looking for solutions to the crisis for which we are past several tipping points already. It is far too late to be fretting over issues with potential solutions; we ALREADY don't have a future.

     Nuclear power was always a very obviously bad idea, but the amount of pro nuclear shills on fediverse is pretty incredible 🙂
